The Dr. Paul David Foundation for Persons with Aphasia provides financial support to charitable groups registered with Revenue Canada that have projects to inform, act, train or carry out research aimed at rehabilitating persons with aphasia.

Those eligible for financial support include projects hoping to:

• break the social and emotional isolation of persons with aphasia and those close to them (social and recreational activities);
• develop and maximize the ability to communicate of persons with aphasia;
• provide for their adaptation and social reintegration through direct services (encouragement, listening, reference, psychological support);
• support the person and his or her family (documents, innovative programs);
• sensitize the genera; population to aphasia;
• explore new therapeutic avenues or ways to compensate;
• innovate in technical aid for communication.
